About URI - Our History

With more than 28 years of experience in whole foods, herbs and nutrition, Uri LeBaron was destined to become a leader in the nutritional industry. Uri’s journey began at the age of seven, harvesting and processing wild herbs from the desert to help with the family business. After inventing a unique process that effectively dried cereal grass and juices to powder, the family business begin to grow.

Uri quickly developed a unique appreciation of the importance whole foods and the astounding health benefits they can provide. He understood that if consumers were to reap the health benefits of whole food in the form of a dried powder supplement, the nutritional value and integrity of the live whole foods being dried must be retained.

Drawing on these years of experience, Uri was instrumental in the creation, design and development of a revolutionary and proprietary whole food drying technology that dries fresh juice and whole produce to powder in seconds at very low temperatures, thereby preserving the nutritional integrity of the live whole food.

The nutrient dense products resulting from this proprietary process far surpassed all other nutritional processing techniques. Uri’s goal became to share these products with the world.

This remarkable drying process, along with Uri’s knowledge of nutritional supplements evolved into a multi-million dollar company, where Uri provided raw materials, product formulations and finished packaged products for many well-known companies in the nutritional industry.
